Watch: Wanna One Has A Blast While Filming “Boomerang” MV In New Behind-The-Scenes Video

Wanna One showed fans a behind-the-scenes look at the filming of their “Boomerang” MV.

The 11 members warmed up and practiced the choreography before their first scene. Lee Dae Hwi announced, “We’ll reveal Wanna One’s choreography for the first time!” before the group powerfully danced to the beat of “Boomerang.”

Between takes, they drank water, fixed their hair and makeup, and stayed cool with handheld fans. Park Woo Jin commented, “My muscles are about to burst.”

Wanna One also kept busy monitoring the footage, posing for the camera, and filming individual scenes.

The group then practiced speaking in what first sounded like a different language, but was revealed to be them speaking backwards for the filming of their rewind cut. Hwang Min Hyun showcased his beautiful vocals by singing a line from the original song and then the rewind cut version. He said, “It kind of sounds like Japanese or Thai,” and added, “I think Wannables will be really surprised when they find out this is how we did it.”

Wanna One had fun with various items they found on set. Park Ji Hoon read a book written in English out loud while Lai Guan Lin and Kang Daniel tried to distract him. Park Ji Hoon later rode a scooter around the set and said, “I’m taking a trip around the world,” and joked that he visited France, Africa, and Australia. Ong Seong Woo shot hoops and was joined by other members.

Park Woo Jin said, “It’s so fun and there are many things that we like on the set, so it’s fun filming,” to which Lai Guan Lin agreed. Older members such as Yoon Ji Sung and Kim Jae Hwan also made the younger members laugh with their antics on set. During a scene where the members walked like models down a runway, Kim Jae Hwan pretended to be a monkey and made everyone burst into laughter.

Wanna One’s second mini album “0+1=1 (I PROMISE YOU)” and title track “Boomerang” were released on March 19 at 6 p.m. KST.
