MAMAMOO Stays Strong With “Starry Night”; Soompi’s K-Pop Music Chart 2018, March Week 5

MAMAMOO’s “Starry Night” repeats as our No. 1 song this week! This song won on two music shows last week at “Inkigayo” and “M! Countdown.” Overall, it maintains a high spot on all our chart sources. Congratulations again to MAMAMOO!

Moving up seven spots to take second place this week is BIGBANG’s “Flower Road.” This song has no MV and no promotions, but it’s still climbing up towards the top spot.

Rounding out the top three is MOMOLAND’s former No. 1 song “Bboom Bboom,” moving back up one spot to No. 3.

There is only one new song in the top 10 this week. Debuting at No. 9 is Wanna One’s latest hit “BOOMERANG.” This is the title song from Wanna One’s second mini-album “0+1=1(I PROMISE YOU).” It is a powerful dance song with an electronic beat, and contains lyrics about a guy hoping for his love to return like a boomerang. Wanna One members showcased their unique charisma in this song.
