Fraud Lawsuit Against Actor Lee Jong Soo To Be Withdrawn

The individual suing actor Lee Jong Soo for fraud has decided to retract the lawsuit.

It was revealed earlier that an acquaintance of Lee Jong Soo known as “A” was filing a lawsuit against the actor on the basis of fraud. “A” introduced Lee Jong Soo to another acquaintance who was getting married, and Lee Jong Soo promised to host the wedding. Lee Jong Soo received his payment before the wedding but did not show up at the wedding. The lawsuit reportedly contained additional claims of various other frauds as well.

In response, Lee Jong Soo’s agency Kook Entertainment expressed their apologies over the lawsuit but stated it was difficult to confirm the exact details as they could not get in contact with the actor.

“A” confirmed on March 31, “I decided to withdraw my lawsuit against Lee Jong Soo on April 2.”

“A” explained, “Beyond just the monetary damages, [Lee Jong Soo] deeply hurt the bride and groom by not coming to host their once-in-a-lifetime wedding, which is why the decision was made to sue. The wedding did not have an officiant, and as the host did not show up on the day of the wedding, the issue became even greater.”

“A” continued, “However, I am worried as Lee Jong Soo has been out of reach for awhile, and I was able to reach an agreement after getting in contact with his family, which is why I am deciding to retract the lawsuit. Lee Jong Soo is still out of contact, and I hope he isn’t facing any personal problems.”
