NCT’s Ten Receives Exemption From Thailand’s Military Service Due To Injury
NCT’s Ten will not be serving in Thailand’s military.
For Thailand’s military service, a lottery is held in each area every year in April to determine the new recruits. Potential recruits select a card out of a box, and if it is red, he will serve for two years, and if it is black, he is exempt. Men can also volunteer to serve instead of taking part in the lottery.
On April 1, Ten went to take part in the lottery. However, he did not pass the health examination due to a past knee injury. As a result, he is exempt from serving and will not take part in the lottery.
GOT7’s BamBam will also take part in his area’s military service lottery on April 9 of this year.
