Kim Saeng Min Steps Down From All 7 Shows Following Sexual Harassment Apology
Following his recent apology for a past sexual harassment incident, Kim Saeng Min has decided to leave all his shows.
On April 3, his agency SM C&C released an official statement to announce Kim Saeng Min’s departure from seven shows. They wrote, “We apologize for causing so much trouble with the disgraceful news about Kim Saeng Min. He feels deep remorse for his wrongful actions.
“He didn’t want to cause damage to the shows he is currently on, so after asking for their understanding, he told the production staff that he would step down from all the programs.
“To the staff and cast members of all the shows, and to those who have given him so much support, we sincerely apologize once again for causing trouble.”
Kim Saeng Min was a fixed cast member of seven shows, including “Entertainment Weekly,” “Kim Saeng Min’s Receipts,” “Omniscient Interfering View” (literal translation), “Let’s Go! Video Travel,” “Animal Farm,” “Salty Tour,” and “Do You Want to Rest Today” (literal translation).
It has been further announced that the podcast “Kim Saeng Min’s Receipts” will end, and this week’s broadcast of “Salty Tour” will not air.
