Yoon Park To Make Big Screen Debut With Historical Film

Yoon Park will be appearing in his first film!

On April 3, it was confirmed that the actor will be appearing in “The Clowns” (literal title). Though he previously appeared in dramas such as “What Happens to My Family?” “The Package,” “Radio Romance,” and more, this will be his first film since his debut.

“The Clowns” follows the story of a group of entertainers who use the eight provinces of Joseon as their stage to spread rumors and shake public sentiment. They are chosen by an influential adviser to the king to create admirable tales of King Sejo.

Yoon Park will be playing the painter Jin Sang, who has a frank and truthful creative style. The actor commented, “This is my first historical piece since my debut, so I think it will be a meaningful work for me. I’m very excited and nervous to be working with seniors such as Son Hyun Joo and Jo Jin Woong.” On his character, Yoon Park shared, “I will be playing the painter Jin Sang. I recently started practicing horseback riding. To really convey my character’s charms, I will prepare hard before going into filming.”

“The Clowns” began filming on March 31 and has a cast of skilled actors including Son Hyun Joo, Jo Jin Woong, Park Hwi Soon, Go Chang Suk, Kim Seul Gi, Kim Min Suk, and more.

The film will be directed by Kim Joo Ho, who also directed “The Grand Heist,” making it his first film in six years.
