The Boyz Recalls First Time Meeting TVXQ And Their Inspirational Advice

On April 3, The Boyz held a showcase for their second album “The Start” at the Yes24 Live Hall in Seoul.

One of the questions The Boyz answered was about TVXQ talking about them at their own recent comeback showcase. Last month at TVXQ’s showcase, Yunho said, “I met The Boyz during rehearsal and they cried while saying that they really missed us. I remember feeling surprised because it felt so sincere.”

The Boyz’s Sunwoo commented, “It was an honor that they remembered us and we were really surprised. If we get to promote at the same time again, we want to go see them and officially say hello. Following their advice, we’ll work hard to become juniors they can be proud of.”

Juyeon was revealed to be the member who cried when the two groups met. Juyeon explained, “We met them by chance in the dressing room. Even though it was our first time meeting, they gave us endless advice and it was touching.”

He continued, “It was not too long after our debut. I cried because they were seniors who I admired since I was young, so our debut felt real and I was deeply moved. I cried when I returned to our dressing room. I was touched when they gave us the advice that we should always be good to people around us and that we should work harder first.”

The Boyz released their mini album and title track “Giddy Up” on April 3.
