Park Shin Hye Talks About How 'Little House In The Forest' Changed Her Definition Of Happiness

Park Shin Hye opened up about the small joys she felt while living in the forest for tvN’s upcoming show “Little House in the Forest.”

She began by confessing that she used to believe that she had to be actively doing something, like going on a trip or meeting up with friends, to find happiness. Park Shin Hye looked back on her experience living amongst nature as she said, “I was able to feel every moment deeply and fully while I was there, I felt happy in small moments like when I picked up a lot of pinecones, when I was able to light a fire in one ago, when the weather was nice, or when birds I’d never seen before flew over my house.”

The actress revealed that the most memorable mission she was given was, “Just do one thing at once.” She explained, “I didn’t realize that when I was multitasking so much, like I would be listening to music and browsing on my phone while I would be cooking. Doing just one thing at once helped me concentrate more, and I felt liked I could enjoy it more as well.”

According to producing director (PD) Na Young Suk, one thing to watch out for during the show is how Park Shin Hye grows as a person as the episodes progress. “Little House in the Forest” will be a program that follows Park Shin Hye and So Ji Sub as they find happiness through a simple and minimalist life, and the show will premiere on April 6 at 9:50 p.m. KST.
