Update: Soyou, Cheetah, And More Confirmed As Trainers For "Produce 48"

After previously revealing FTISLAND’s Lee Hong Ki as a vocal trainer, “Produce 48” has announced more of the trainer lineup!

In addition to Lee Hong Ki, former SISTAR member Soyou will be taking part as a vocal trainer.

Cheetah, who was a rap trainer for both season of “Produce 101,” will be back once again. Bae Yoon Jeong from the first season of “Produce 101” will return as a dance trainer. 1MILLION Dance Studio’s May J Lee and choreographer Choi Young Joon will also participate as dance trainers.

The first “Produce 48” recording with all 96 trainees is taking place on April 11.

The first trainer has been revealed for upcoming survival program “Produce 48”!

On April 5, industry representatives reported that FTISLAND’s Lee Hong Ki will be participating in “Produce 48” as a vocal trainer.

In response, a source from the program commented, “It is true that Lee Hong Ki is appearing on ‘Produce 48’ as a vocal trainer.”

The source continued, “Not only does he have outstanding vocal abilities, but he is popular in both Korea and Japan, and he is fluent in both Korean and Japanese. He was recruited as he seems to be the most suitable artist for the program.”

“Produce 48” is a collaboration between the “Produce 101” series and Japan’s AKB48 system. Female trainees from both Korea and Japan will be competing to become part of the final group. The show will begin filming in April and premiere in June.
