"The Unit" Mentor Jo Hyun Ah's Agency Responds To Her Dating Rumors With MYNAME's Chaejin

MakeUs Entertainment has officially addressed the rumors that Urban Zakapa’s Jo Hyun Ah, who served as a mentor on KBS’s idol rebooting project “The Unit,” is romantically involved with MYNAME’s Chaejin, a former contestant on the show.

On April 8, rumors began circulating that Jo Hyun Ah and Chaejin were dating after a photo was posted online of the two singers looking close in a casual setting.

Later that day, Jo Hyun Ah’s agency MakeUs Entertainment firmly denied any romantic involvement between the artists, stating, “The photo of Jo Hyun Ah and Chaejin shows them drinking together at a mutual acquaintance’s home. Several people were drinking together at that acquaintance’s home, and the photo captured a moment in which they were playing a game.”

The agency went on, “Jo Hyun Ah and Chaejin are nothing more than close friends. They all got to know each other through KBS 2TV’s ‘The Unit’ and were simply having a get-together, so we find it unfortunate that the photo was leaked in this manner.”
