7 Organic K-Beauty Products To Have Fun With This Spring & Summer

With spring here and summer on the way, the time is long overdue for glitzing up your style and revamping your look. While shopping sprees, new highlights, and attempts at nail art are probably already on all of our to-do lists, you might want to consider tackling a new skin care routine, too.

Whether you’re a Da Vinci when it comes to eyeshadow and the 10 step K-beauty routine or a novice, now really is the perfect time to study up on the beauty care products. As the long-running expert in the department, Korean skincare routines and beauty products have become quite popular in the other corners of the world, and the super trend this year is organic — which means all natural, sensitive products that treat your skin right. On board yet? Read on for seven fave products you can have fun experimenting with in between enjoying the upcoming sunny days!

1. Organic Sea Kelp Facial Mask by Whamisa

Whamisa is one of the top organic skincare companies this year, with a special process of fermentation designed to increase absorption and naturally preserve the ingredients in their products. They also happen to have a collection of Korean facial masks. My fave part of the whole K-beauty routine, masks are excellent fun for some late night pampering with friends or if you’re feeling lazy. You might want to see if Whamisa’s Organic Sea Kelp Facial Mask is worth trying out. It’s great for calming your skin, simultaneously adding nutrients to your pores and hydrating them for a brighter complexion. Rumor has it that the product was inspired by female JeJu divers who use kelp to soften their own skin, so it’s also got a cool story behind it.

2. The True Cream Aquabomb by Belif

Belif’s Aquabomb is definitely an organic bestseller with some rave reviews. The aquabomb’s goal is, as you probably guessed, to refresh your skin by providing some super hydration to it. For those of us who struggle with dry complexions and acne, it’s sometimes hard to add the coveted moisturizer into the routine without creating more problems. Belif True Cream Aquabomb is an awesome solution to this problem as one of the few products known to hydrate without causing breakouts (hallelujah). Double bonus: Belif is currently being carried at Sephora, which means its products are only your nearest American mall away.

3. Organic Flowers Damask Rose Petal Mist by Whamisa

The Organic Flowers Damask Rose Petal Mist is definitely my favorite on this list as a fun and aesthetically gorgeous product. A facial mist is a vital skincare product go-to throughout the day, so it’s important to have one you love. This particular mist is made up of aloe vera extract, chrysanthemum extracts, and roses instead of water, so it’s a bit of a special blend that treats your face and leaves a flowery scent behind. Plus, it has little rose petals which float in the bottle, which means I’m completely sold.
(If roses aren’t your thing, or you want to collect the whole Whamisa facial mist set, check out their equally cool olive leaf mist!)

4. Artichoke Power Essence by Yuri Pibu

Yuri Pibu is an organic company which champions the look of the “glass face” — smooth, bright, dewy, and basically perfect. Their Artichoke Power Essence is known for its elasticity ability, shrinking and firming skin for a forever young look. Plus, the product composition is sixty percent artichoke, a new and trendy ingredient that’s definitely proving itself in the skincare department.

5. Crystal Iceplant Pressed Serum by Blithe

If you’re looking for a skincare product that nourishes, hydrates, and protects skin from pollution, then you might consider the Crystal Iceplant Pressed Serum. Serums are generally the second to last step in a skin care routine, designed to target special skin concerns: basically, it’s the customizable part of the process. Before you settle on your favorites, try this one out! Blithe’s Crystal Iceplant Pressed Serum is also a combo moisturizer and serum, which makes it both beneficial for your skin and convenient.

6. Green Tea Foaming Cleansing Gel by Whamisa

If you want to keep things simple, then a foaming cleanser is a good place to start. Wash your face in the mornings and evenings with Whamisa’s Green Tea Foaming Cleansing Gel. It strips dirt and makeup off while hydrating your skin, and its green tea ingredients will help fight acne breakouts. Plus, it’s a gentle type of cleanser which works well for sensitive skin types.

7. Watermelon Glow Sleeping Mask by Glow Recipe

For a fun summer K-beauty product, you might splurge on Glow Recipe’s Watermelon Glow Sleeping Mask. Not only does it have a wickedly good scent to it, but this mask contains a mix of hyaluronic acid and watermelon extract to clear and soothe your face while you’re sleeping. If you have scarring and breakout issues, then this product is a doubly good fit for you: it works pretty well on skin damage, according to reviewers.

This product is available at Sephora, but if you want it in a mask sheet version you’ll most likely have to buy it online. Either way, it’s totally worth it.

In summary…
