Go Hyun Jung Talks About Her Departure From "Return" At First Event Since Controversy

Go Hyun Jung appeared at a public event for the first time since her departure from the SBS drama “Return.”

On April 12, Go Hyun Jung attended a press event for the film “Winter Guest Scarier Than A Tiger” (literal title) in Seoul.

The actress began, “After going through a series of events, I thought that I should self-reflect a lot.”

She continued, “There are misunderstandings and also things that didn’t happen. People around me asked me why I’m not saying anything.”

Go Hyun Jung added, “I realized once again that with everything, there aren’t just bad things or just good things. My fans are one of the reasons why I need to live well and that’s everything. Thank you.”

In February, Go Hyun Jung stepped down from “Return” in the middle of production, with reports of a fight between her and the producing director of the drama.

“Winter Guest Scarier Than A Tiger” premiered in theaters in Korea on April 12 with Lee Jin Wook and Go Hyun Jung as its leads.
