Ji Hyun Woo And Girls' Generation's Seohyun Address Reports Of Them Reuniting In A New Drama
Girls’ Generation’s Seohyun and Ji Hyun Woo have responded to reports about their casting offers for a new drama.
Earlier reports said the two actors had been cast as the leads of “Life-or-Death Romance” (literal translation). Seohyun and Ji Hyun Woo previously worked together as the leads of “Bad Thief, Good Thief” in 2017, making this new drama a possible reunion. However, both of their respective agencies refuted these reports.
Seohyun’s representative explained, “She was never in talks for the drama.” The Girls’ Generation member has confirmed that she is currently considering an offer for the female lead of a different drama, MBC’s “Time,” alongside Kim Jung Hyun.
A source from Ji Hyun Woo’s agency clarified, “He received an offer for ‘Life-or-Death Romance.’ It’s true that he is currently in talks but his appearance has not been finalized.”
“Life-or-Death Romance” is a romantic medical drama about a surgeon and an endocrinologist. It will be written by Kim Nam Hee and Heo Seung Min, and directed by Lee Chang Han of “Star in my Heart” and “I Need Romance.”
While it was reported to be a MBC drama, the broadcasting station has clarified that this is a detail that has not been confirmed yet. The new drama is in talks to be the follow-up production to “Tempted.”
