WINNER To Perform "Air" For 1st Time On "Music Core" Due To Fan Demand

WINNER will be performing their new song “Air” for the very first time this week!

Shortly after the release of their second studio album “EVERYD4Y” on April 4, WINNER’s new track “Air” emerged as a fan favorite from the album, alongside the title track “Everyday.” With many fans expressing strong interest in seeing the group perform the song live, WINNER has decided to stage a performance of “Air” on this week’s broadcast of MBC’s “Music Core.”

Despite the group’s busy schedule, the members of WINNER have reportedly been staying up late and forgoing sleep in order to master the choreography for the song.

Leader Kang Seung Yoon previously shared that he had written the song “Air” specifically with his fans in mind. “It’s a song that I wrote after being inspired by a diffuser that our fans gave us as a gift,” he explained. “I wrote it with the message that fans are like air to singers. Part of the meaning is that, although [air] is everywhere, it’s something that we should never take for granted.”

Song Mino also previously chose “Air” as his favorite song from the album.
