"Battle Trip" PD Shares Details On Trip Of Wanna One's Park Woo Jin And Park Ji Hoon

Son Ji Won, the producing director (PD) of “Battle Trip,” talked about how Wanna One’s Park Ji Hoon and Park Woo Jin were like on the show. It was previously revealed that the two members would be making an appearance.

During a presser on April 13, the PD revealed that they had finished filming the outdoor part of the show. After some additional filming in the studio during the last week of April, the episodes featuring the two Wanna One members will begin airing on May 5.

“Because Park Woo Jin and Park Ji Hoon are 20 years old, I wondered what it would be like to folow them on the first trip as a 20-year-old,” the PD said. “With the Coming of Age Day coming up, I wanted them to have a refreshing itinerary. We went to the city of Jinju and Hadong County because it’s blooming season.”

She continued, “These guys have less experience than ordinary college students as they’ve been busy as trainees. I was told that they were really excited during the experience when they were suddenly given free time. I took a look at what the edited video looks like and because they’re so close to each other, their friendly chemistry really showed through.”

The PD also hinted that Park Woo Jin’s cooking skills will be on the show. “They went camping as well and late at night, Park Woo Jin showed that he’s quite good at cooking,” she explained. “For a guy his age, you could tell that he had experience with kitchen tools. Fans will be able to see Park Woo Jin cooking for Park Ji Hoon and the staff members on the show.”

The episode of “Battle Trip” featuring Wanna One’s Park Ji Hoon and Park Woo Jin airs on May 5 at 9:15 p.m. KST.
