Wanna One Guards Top Spot With “Boomerang”; Soompi’s K-Pop Music Chart 2018, April Week 2

Wanna One’s “BOOMERANG” remains on top of our chart for the second straight week! This song won again on the same four music shows as last week: “Music Bank,” “Music Core,” “M! Countdown,” and “Show Champion.” “BOOMERANG” also topped our Soompi Airplay this week. Congratulations again to Wanna One!

Moving back up three spots to No. 2 is BIGBANG’s “Flower Road.” This song was at No. 2 two weeks ago and climbed back up to the same spot this week. Holding steady again at No. 3 is MAMAMOO’s “Starry Night.”

There is only one new song in the top 10 this week. Moving up 13 spots to No. 4 is TVXQ’s latest hit “The Chance Of Love.” This is the title song of TVXQ’s eighth album “New Chapter #1 : The Chance of Love,” their first full album in nearly three years. It is a dance song with an addictive melody and guitar sound, with lyrics that tell the life stories of the TVXQ members.
