Watch: MAMAMOO And Weki Meki Usher In Spring With Lovely Performances On "Immortal Songs 2"
The April 14 broadcast of KBS 2TV’s “Immortal Songs 2” featured a spring special with performances by seven teams that embodied the sweet aura of springtime.
The first performance was a cover of Kang Soo Ji’s “Violet Fragrance” by powerful girl group MAMAMOO. The members explained, “We chose ‘Violet Fragrance’ to convey spring, the season of love. Please look forward to MAMAMOO’s take on youthful innocence.”
Leaving their usual girl-crush concept behind, MAMAMOO showed a new side through the performance as they captivated the audience with their sweet charm and vocal talent.
Weki Meki also performed later on in the episode, covering S#arp’s “Sweety.” The group commented, “We thought of spring as youth. We’ll express the refreshing nature of youth through our song.”
True to their words, Weki Meki started off their performance with cute rock-paper-scissors choreography before continuing with their adorable cover.
