Mnet has announced the appearance fees for their upcoming show “Produce 48”!

On April 17, a source from the show told Xsportsnews that participants will receive 100,000 won (approximately $94) per episode. If they release music, Mnet will pay 1 million won (approximately $936) per song.

In the first two seasons of “Produce 101,” Mnet did not pay any appearance fees and only split the revenue they got from releasing songs. The source from the show emphasized that participants will be paid equally this time.

96 trainees will compete in “Produce 48,” the hybrid program of the “Produce 101” series and the AKB48 system. As previously announced, the final group will promote in both Korea and Japan on a contract of two and a half years.

The show is set to premiere in June with FTISLAND’s Lee Hong Ki, Soyou, Cheetah, Bae Yoon Jeong, 1MILLION Dance Studio’s May J Lee, and choreographer Choi Young Joon as trainers.
