NU'EST's Ren Joins Campaign To Help Children With Cancer

NU’EST’s Ren has become personally involved in a campaign to help young children fighting cancer.

On April 22, it was reported that Ren had stepped up to support the Korean Pediatric Cancer Foundation’s new “Creating My Own Angel Contest” campaign. The NU’EST member personally visited the foundation on April 18 to hand-deliver two piggy banks as part of the campaign.

Not only did many of Ren’s fans come together to donate to the campaign upon hearing of his involvement, but they also expressed their heartfelt support for the cause by naming one of the piggy banks “Wish.”

Ren remarked, “Last year, when I saw my fans performing a number of good deeds including personally donating to children with pediatric cancer and leukemia, I was deeply moved, and I ended up joining the campaign because I wanted to be of some help, no matter how small.”

He went on, “I’m rooting for the children fighting illness to make a healthy and bright recovery. I will continue to work hard to try and be of help in the future.”

In addition to promoting with his group NU’EST W, Ren was recently cast in the upcoming drama “Four Sons.”
