Watch: Girls' Generation's YoonA Gives Lee Hyori Unusual Gift On "Hyori's Homestay 2"

Girls’ Generation member YoonA surprised Lee Hyori and Lee Sang Soon with unique, thoughtful gifts on JTBC’s “Hyori’s Homestay 2.”

On the April 22 episode of the reality show, YoonA returned to Jeju Island to welcome guests at the homestay for the spring season. After happily reuniting with the homeowners, dogs, and cats, she handed Lee Hyori and Lee Sang Soon gifts that she had picked out for them.

YoonA’s first gift for the couple was matching blue shirts that she had purchased during a trip to Japan. They happily checked out their new shirts and thanked her for her gift.

YoonA then secretively took Lee Hyori aside to the kitchen, where she gave her a second present. Lee Hyori looked surprised, then burst out into laughter when she saw that the gift was insoles.

Lee Hyori put them on and wore her socks over them before walking into the kitchen. With her newly increased height, she confidently reached up and picked something off the highest shelf, which was something that she had previously struggled with on the show.

YoonA giggled, and Lee Sang Soon looked confused by the women’s behavior. He remained unaware of what was going on until Lee Hyori stood next to YoonA and asked him, “Do you notice anything different?”

When he finally realized the secret to Lee Hyori’s sudden increase in height, he chuckled as she strutted down the hallway.
