Ra Mi Ran And Lee Sung Kyung Team Up To Lead New Action Comedy Film

Ra Mi Ran and Lee Sung Kyung will be teaming up for a fun film!

It was confirmed that the two actresses will appear in the upcoming film “Girl Cops” (tentative title). It will be a comic action film where two people working in the Public Service Center find themselves chasing after a crime together.

Ra Mi Ran will play Mi Young, detective who used to be the ace of her team until she was forced to put her dreams in the backseat after getting married and having kids. She will be joined by Lee Sung Kyung, who becomes a detective in the serious crimes squad, a job she’s always dreamed about, but her overexcitement about the job causes an accident and sends her to the Public Service Center.

The film will follow them as they unexpectedly find themselves tied up in a crime scene and team up to catch the criminal. Though they bicker with each other constantly, they work together flawlessly when faced with the bad guys. The two actresses will ramp up their “girl crush” charms to the max, and will create an action-packed film full of laughs.

The film will be helmed by new and upcoming director Jung Da Won, who has been recognized for bringing characters to life through refreshing humor through the film “Garak Market Revolution.” “Girl Cops” will start filming in July after finalizing its cast.
