Watch: "Come And Hug Me" Introduces Eerie Reversal For Jang Ki Yong And Jin Ki Joo

MBC’s new Wednesday-Thursday drama “Come and Hug Me” has dropped its first teaser video.

“Come and Hug Me” stars Jang Ki Yong in his first lead role as Chae Do Jin, a police officer who is also the son of a psychopathic serial killer. He reunites with his first love Han Jae Yi (Jin Ki Joo), who is the daughter of one of his father’s victims, and they learn to heal each other’s wounds and face the world again.

The video starts off by showing the characters when they are younger, enjoying a romantic moment in a park. The voice-over says, “In my dark life, I met someone who I wanted to protect for the first time.” However, the scene suddenly changes as a mysterious man shatters a TV screen in a dark room. He threateningly walks over to Jang Ki Young and Jin Ki Joo, who are huddled together against the wall. Jang Ki Yong reaches for Jin Ki Joo’s hand and gazes at her as a tear falls down her face. In the background, Jang Ki Yong can be heard saying, “Nak Won, I’ll always protect you. No matter what.”

“Come and Hug Me” will premiere at 10 p.m. KST on Wednesday, May 16, and will be available on Viki!
