Listen: FTISLAND's Lee Hong Ki Releases Emotional OST "Raise Me Up" For "Switch"
FTISLAND’s Lee Hong Ki has released a new OST for SBS’s Wednesday-Thursday drama “Switch.”
“Raise Me Up” was released on April 25 and is a British pop track that brings together a melancholy melody and Lee Hong Ki’s rough and emotional voice to perfectly portray the loneliness and sorrow of Sa Do Chan (played by Jang Geun Suk). Though he is usually full of mischief and an upbeat energy, the characters also holds dark memories and experiences from his past that are reflected in the new song.
This is Lee Hong Ki’s first OST since the 2014 SBS drama “Modern Farmer.” Not only this, but he also has a special connection with Jang Geun Suk. The two appeared in the 2009 SBS drama “You’re Beautiful” and have since maintained a close friendship.
