BTS Breaks Own Record For Highest Number Of Stock Pre-Orders With Their Upcoming Album

BTS has set a new record for stock pre-orders for their upcoming album “Love Yourself: Tear.”

According to iriver, the company handling the distribution of BTS’s new album, “Love Yourself: Tear” has reached a total of 1,449,287 stock pre-orders as of April 24. This is the total number of stock pre-orders made by wholesale dealers and retailers in Korea, and does not include stock pre-orders made by international retailers.

This surpasses their previous record for highest number of stock pre-orders by almost 400,000 orders, which was achieved by BTS’s previous mini album “Love Yourself: Her” back in August 2017 with 1,051,546 stock pre-orders.

BTS also recently topped Amazon’s CDs & Vinyl Best Sellers list after their album was open for pre-orders, and continued to rank No. 1 on this list for a week as of April 24.

The group will be releasing their third album “Love Yourself: Tear” on May 18, and will also be holding their comeback stage in front of the world for the first time at the 2018 Billboard Music Awards on May 20 in Las Vegas.
