Idols And Veteran Singers Sharpen Their Wits For New Music Quiz Variety Show "Unexpected Q"

The upcoming MBC variety show “Unexpected Q” has released some more details and stills of its all-star cast.

The show is emceed by Lee Soo Geun and Jun Hyun Moo and stars a variety of entertainers and idols from all generations, such as Eun Ji Won, Yoo Se Yoon, Noh Sa Yeon, Kangta, Girls’ Generation’s Sunny, WINNER’s Song Mino, BTOB’s Eunkwang, MAMAMOO’s Solar, TWICE’s Dahyun, and gugudan’s Kim Sejeong. These music industry veterans and newcomers will put their heads together to solve creative and unusual questions that are put to them by the viewers.

According to the show and the stills, the Q Players (as the cast is called) were taken aback by the unconventionality of some of the questions, frequently asking, “What? What?” and looking at each other for assistance before throwing themselves into solving the problem. There will also be “talk show” segments where the singers of all generations can talk about their experiences with music and the industry.

“Unexpected Q” was pitched by the production staff as a show that families can gather round to watch on Saturday evenings and be relatable to the viewers. It will premiere on May 5 at 6:25 p.m. KST.
