VIXX's Agency Gives Update On Hyuk's Injury + Says He Is Unable To Participate In Upcoming Activities

On May 3, VIXX’s agency Jellyfish Entertainment issued another statement on Hyuk’s condition following his recent injury.

They wrote on the group’s fan cafe, “Hello, this is Jellyfish Entertainment.

“We are writing once again to inform you about the medical results regarding the injury that Hyuk sustained at the Japanese fan meeting yesterday (May 2).

“After getting injured, Hyuk was immediately taken to urgent care, where he first underwent an eye examination to check his swollen eye. There is nothing wrong according to the test results, and the swelling is almost gone.

“We had him go through a CT inspection just in case, and no problems were found. He also received treatment for the minor injuries to his jaw.

“Following his examination and treatment at the hospital, Hyuk is currently resting. For the sake of his speedy recovery, however, we decided he will not be participating in the group’s upcoming activities in Japan. The other five members will continue with the event scheduled for May 4 in Osaka.

“We apologize once again to those who are worried about Hyuk. We will put forth our best effort towards his recovery process.

“We will also do our best to prevent this from happening again.”
