EXO's Baekhyun Thanks Fans For Birthday Wishes, Becomes No. 1 Worldwide Trending Topic On Twitter

EXO’s Baekhyun and fans expressed their love for each other on social media in celebration of a special day!

May 6 marks the singer’s birthday, and he is turning 26 (by Western reckoning) this year. Minutes after it became midnight KST on this day, “HappyBaekhyunDay” became the No. 1 worldwide trending topic on Twitter.

“HappyKyoongDay,” written in Korean, also trended as one of the top 10 topics worldwide, while both phrases along with “Congrats to Kyoong’s 27th spring” were the top three trends in Korea.

Baekhyun also took to his Instagram to thank fans for their birthday wishes. He wrote, “This year, it seems it’s once again a birthday where I receive lots of congratulatory messages without fail! Thank you! Our EXO-Ls! I saw all the ‘Kyoong’day messages! Thanks to you guys, I feel very energized while practicing!”

Through hashtags, Baekhyun also expressed, “Thank you. A happy ‘kyoong’day. I’m going to eat a lot of yummy things today.”
