GOT7 Kicks Off World Tour With Successful Concerts In Seoul

GOT7 has successfully completed the Seoul leg of their new world tour!

The idols held their first “GOT7 2018 World Tour – Eyes on You” concerts in Seoul from May 4 to 6, with over 18,000 fans attending. The concerts were packed with powerful performances by the group on all three days.

On May 6, GOT7 opened the last concert in Seoul by saying, “It seems to be more energetic in here since today’s the last day.” When the fans expressed their regret that the concert was ending with loud cries of “Aww,” BamBam responded, “There’s no time to say, ‘Aww.’ Since today’s the last day, we need to have even more fun so we can finish without regrets.”

After the opening performances, the members took the time to introduce themselves individually, explaining, “There may be people who are seeing us for the first time, so let’s introduce ourselves.” BamBam introduced himself as “young and rich BamBam,” while Yugyeom referred to himself as “GOT7’s dancing machine.” JB simply introduced himself as “leader JB,” while Jackson told fans, “I am your energy.” Finally, Jinyoung drew attention for his impressive visuals, and Mark and Youngjae also introduced themselves to the cheers of the crowd.

GOT7 then revealed the meaning behind the tour’s name “Eyes on You,” saying, “It means that we are going to meet our fans. The entire stage is in the shape of an eye. We made sure to pay attention to the details.” BamBam added, “Our latest album was titled ‘Eyes on You,’ and the title track was ‘Look.'”

The group most recently made a comeback on March 12 with the mini album “Eyes on You,” which performed well on a number of music charts.

GOT7 will be embarking on their world tour from May to August this year, holding concerts in 17 cities.
