TVXQ's Changmin Gets Praised By Chef Choi Hyun Seok For His Work Ethic
Star chef Choi Hyun Seok was full of praise for TVXQ member Changmin.
On May 7, the chef uploaded a selfie of him and Changmin. He wrote, “Chef Shim. The 72 hours with you. It wasn’t just a variety show and he wasn’t just a guest. He was a chef. He always had a dishcloth with him, and wiped and wiped. Your diligence in working hard at everything you do and your character made Choikang Changmin exist today. All of the kitchen staff had fun during our time with you. Chef Shim, always be healthy and happy. Good luck!!!”
For TVXQ’s reality show “72 Hours,” Changmin was interviewed then employed at Choi Hyun Seok’s restaurant as a chef for 72 hours.
Changmin talked about the experience during a press conference before TVXQ’s concert on May 6. He said, “To be honest, I had no intentions of going to Choi Hyun Seok’s restaurant. I was just thinking of making some Western food to make every day at home, but went at the urging of the staff.”
He continued, “I had fun doing it. I learned once again how sacred and valuable physical labor is by experiencing something I hadn’t done before. Beside the point of liking or disliking an activity, just moving around made me realize that it was a sacred activity and it was a valuable time.”
“72 Hours” releases new episodes Mondays to Wednesdays every week at 11 a.m. KST on Naver’s V Live and Naver TV online, as well as airs on XtvN on Mondays at 8 p.m. KST.
