Woo Jin Young's Agency Announces Project Album Following Cancellation Of "MIXNINE" Group Debut

Happyface Entertainment has revealed more upcoming plans for Woo Jin Young after the cancellation of the final “MIXNINE” group.

On May 9, the agency wrote, “Happyface Entertainment feels sadness and disappointment at the cancellation of an official debut for the JTBC ‘MIXNINE’ final group,” and continued, “After the ‘MIXNINE’ final top nine debut was cancelled without our intentions due to external circumstances, Happyface Entertainment staff and Woo Jin Young gathered to have various discussions.”

In order to give back to the support of fans, Happyface Entertainment has decided to release a collaboration album for Woo Jin Young and Kim Hyun Soo, who also competed on “MIXNINE.”

The agency added, “The exact album releasing timing has not been decided yet, but we promise to devote hard work on album production so that Woo Jin Young and Kim Hyun Soo can greet you all as soon as possible with good music that expresses their charms.”

Happyface Entertainment also clarified that the project album is a special gift for fans and is not related to the HNB trainee project, which Woo Jin Young and Shin Hyun Soo are also participating in.
