Choi Tae Joon And Hwang Jung Eum Are In The Friend Zone For "The Undateables"

Choi Tae Joon and Hwang Jung Eum show that they are the best of friends for “The Undateables.”

“The Undateables” is about Hoon Nam (played by Namgoong Min) who rejects love and is against relationships, and Jung Eum (played by Hwang Jung Eum) who dreams of love but gives up on it because of harsh realities. Hoon Nam and Jung Eum help those who want to find relationships and end up falling in love.

Choi Tae Joon plays Jung Eum’s childhood friend Joon Soo. The two are the closest of friends, to the point where Jung Eum can reveal everything about herself to him without feeling embarrassed, and Joon Soo can understand how she feels just by seeing her gaze.

In the released photos, the two can be seen spending time with each other, and it is obvious that the two have been close for a long time. They gaze at each other in a warm way, and are even slightly physically affectionate as they hold hands. Choi Tae Joon goofs off in front of Hwang Jung Eum, while she wears comfortable, baggy clothes as they meet up in a neighborhood park.

The production staff stated, “Hwang Jung Eum and Choi Tae Joon have already perfectly immersed themselves into close friends. They will show the warm affection between each other as friends. Their silly chemistry will ad more fun to the drama.”

“The Undateables” will air its first episode on May 23 and will be available on Viki!
