Kim Dong Jun is officially joining “About Time”!

Shortly after the news about Kim Dong Jun being in talks for the role of Jo Jae Yoo, tvN released an official statement to confirm that the actor will be replacing Lee Seo Won.

They wrote, “We have finalized the casting of Kim Dong Jun. He has canceled all his scheduled activities to start filming with us, so we will begin shooting soon. We will make sure that there are no disruptions to the existing broadcast schedule, and we will try out best to show viewers a great production. Thank you.”

Kim Dong Jun of ZE:A might be taking Lee Seo Won’s spot in upcoming tvN drama “About Time.”

After being charged with sexually harassing and threatening a female celebrity with a weapon, actor Lee Seo Won was removed from the cast of “About Time.”

On May 17, several sources from the industry reported that Kim Dong Jun will replace Lee Seo Won and take over the role of Jo Jae Yoo, a genius musical director.

In response to these reports, a source from the drama stated that they did give him an offer, but nothing has been confirmed yet. Kim Dong Jun’s agency Major9 also stated that the actor is positively considering the offer.

Kim Dong Jun previously acted in dramas like “Neighborhood Lawyer Jo Deul Ho,” “I Still Love You,” and “Black.”

Meanwhile, “About Time” will premiere on May 21 at 9:30 p.m. KST. The drama will be available on Viki.
