"Another Oh Hae Young" PD May Reunite With Seo Hyun Jin For "The Beauty Inside" Drama
Producing director (PD) Song Hyun Wook may be working with actress Seo Hyun Jin for JTBC’s remake of a popular movie!
On May 21, a source from JTBC’s new drama “The Beauty Inside” told news outlet TV Daily that the drama will be headed by PD Song Hyun Wook.
Song Hyun Wook has previously directed “Marriage, Not Dating,” “Revolutionary Love,” and “Another Oh Hae Young.” “Another Oh Hae Young” was especially successful, beginning off with a two-percent viewership rating and finishing with almost 10 percent. Seo Hyun Jin, who was the female lead, emerged as a ‘romantic comedy queen’ with the huge success of the drama.
It was revealed last month that the actress is in talks to star in “The Beauty Inside.” If she accepts the offer, it will be her first time filming with PD Song Hyun Wook since “Another Oh Hae Young.” Lee Min Ki is in talks for the drama as well.
“The Beauty Inside” is a drama remake of a popular movie with the same title released in 2015. While the movie tells the story of a man who wakes up every day in a different body, the drama will feature a female lead who only becomes a different person at specific times.
The drama is in preparations with plans to air in the latter half of the year.
