Park Seo Joon And Kang Ki Young Preview Their Comical Bromance In “What’s Wrong With Secretary Kim?”
Upcoming tvN drama “What’s Wrong with Secretary Kim?” has released stills of Park Seo Joon and Kang Ki Young.
“What’s Wrong with Secretary Kim?” is a romantic comedy based on a popular web novel about a narcissistic vice president of a famous company and his skillful secretary Kim Mi So (played by Park Min Young).
Park Seo Joon will appear as Lee Young Joon, the vice president, and Kang Ki Young will play his friend named Park Yoo Sik.
As on-screen best friends, the two actors will showcase their bromance in the drama. If Kim Mi So’s existence is likened to Lee Young Joon’s right arm, then Park Yoo Sik is like his left arm. Lee Young Joon can talk about everything, including dating advice, with his friend Park Yoo Sik that he can’t with his secretary. Park Yoo Sik uses his experience from his divorce to step in as a dating counselor.
Lee Young Joon also hired Park Yoo Sik to be the CEO of his company, concurrently making Park Yoo Sik his special assistant who helps him out with everything. Their relationship as longtime friends will be something fun to look forward to in the drama.
In the stills, Lee Young Joon’s and Park Yoo Sik’s facial expressions show their respective opinions of each other. Holding a piece of paper in his hand, Lee Young Joon looks at his friend with a triumphant smile, while Park Yoo Sik looks at him in disbelief.
The scene depicted is when Lee Young Joon talks to Park Yoo Sik after Kim Mi So announces her resignation as his secretary. Park Yoo Sik reacts to this funny, but sad situation as he listens to Lee Young Joon’s narcissistic comments.
A source from the drama said, “Park Seo Joon and Kang Ki Young’s chemistry is very good. They’re best friends on-screen and also have an employer-employee relationship, so they’ll show a comical bromance as ‘frenemies’ and make viewers laugh. Please look forward to ‘What’s Wrong with Secretary Kim?'”
“What’s Wrong with Secretary Kim?” will premiere on June 6 at 9:30 p.m. KST. Check out the newest teaser here!
