Cha Tae Hyun In Talks To Join Bae Doona As Leads Of New Drama
Cha Tae Hyun is currently in talks to lead a drama with Bae Doona!
It was reported on May 25 that the two actors had been cast in the leading roles of upcoming drama, “The Greatest Divorce” (literal title). A source from Blossom Entertainment responded by stating, “Cha Tae Hyun has indeed received an offer to appear in ‘The Greatest Divorce and he is currently positively reviewing the offer.” SBD Entertainment reaffirmed their statement from last month that Bae Doona is reviewing her own offer as well.
“The Greatest Divorce” is a romantic comedy about how people in their thirties form their attitudes about marriage and family in a modern age when divorce is more common. The drama will be a remake of the popular 2013 Japanese drama of the same name and was penned by Sakamoto Yuji, who also wrote the original Japanese drama of recently remade tvN production “Mother.”
The drama is planning to begin airing in the second half of 2018.
