Apink's Jung Eun Ji Shares Who She Had The Best Duet Chemistry With

On the May 27 episode of JTBC’s “Sugar Man 2,” Apink’s Jung Eun Ji and Hanhae made a guest appearance to sing a duet.

During the talk segment, Yoo Hee Yeol pointed out that the two had dressed alike, “like a couple.” Jung Eun Ji answered, “Yes, we did that on purpose.”

Lyricist Kim Eana (also known as Kim Yi Na) then said that Jung Eun Ji is known as the “chemistry fairy” of the music industry because of her chemistry with all her duet partners. Some of her famous duet partners in the past have been agency labelmate Heo Gak, Highlight’s Yang Yoseob, and Seo In Guk.

When asked which person she felt she matched best with, she said, “Heo Gak” though with an apologetic look at Hanhae beside her. “I will work hard so that my chemistry with Hanhae becomes the best today,” she added.

Yoo Jae Suk then pointed out that Jung Eun Ji had done a duet with Yoo Hee Yeol in the past, and asked her for her opinion on Yoo Hee Yeol as a vocalist. “His singing style is like a blank sheet of paper,” she said. “Some people’s voices come out the way you draw them, and his voice is very raw. It’s like sashimi.”

Jokingly, Yoo Jae Suk said to Yoo Hee Yeol, “You should take vocal lessons. Learn from the great singers in your agency.”
