Seo In Guk Confirmed For Leading Role In New Drama

Seo In Guk will be making his return through a new drama!

On May 30, tvN confirmed that Seo In Guk will be playing the lead role in the upcoming drama “100 Million Stars Falling From the Sky” (working title). They also gave an update on Jung So Min, who was previously reported to have been contacted for the leading female role, and stated that she is positively reviewing the offer.

Seo In Guk will be playing the role of Kim Moo Young, who works at a microbrewery, while Jung So Min is considering the role of advertisement designer Yoo Jin Kang. The drama will be a remake of the popular 2002 Japanese drama “Sora Kara Furu Ichioku no Hoshi.” The drama will follow the story of two people who have a fateful meeting and continue to cross paths throughout their daily lives.

This is set to be Seo In Guk’s first drama in two years since the 2016 MBC drama “Shopping King Louie.” This will also be his first drama since enlisting in the army last March and being exempted from duty due to osteochondral lesions.
