Lee Tae Hwan Comments On Playing A Much Older Character In "What's Wrong With Secretary Kim?"
On May 30, the press conference was held for the upcoming tvN drama “What’s Wrong with Secretary Kim?”
Lee Tae Hwan, who was born in 1995, will be playing the role of 35-year-old Lee Sung Yeon. Lee Sung Yeon is the older brother of Park Seo Joon‘s character Lee Young Joon, and Park Seo Joon was born in 1988.
On his character being about 10 years older than himself, Lee Tae Hwan shared, “I have played a lot of characters in their 30s. This time, it is an even older mid-30s role.”
He continued, “It would be a lie to say that I don’t feel pressured, but I studied with the thought of approaching it as a character and expressing it beyond age.”
“The director jokes that I don’t look like I’m in my 20s. I think this could be a great strength for me,” he added.
“What’s Wrong with Secretary Kim” is a romantic comedy based on a popular webtoon about narcissist Lee Young Joon and his secretary Kim Mi So (Park Min Young). The drama is set to premiere on June 6.
