Four Japanese “Produce 48” Contestants Reported To Have Left The Show
It has been reported that four “Produce 48” contestants have dropped out in the middle of filming.
According to sources at the broadcasting network, the filming of the first contest round on May 24 took place with only 92 contestants instead of the planned 96.
The four contestants rumored to have left the project are Tanaka Miku, Uemura Azusa, Umeyama Cocona, and Tsukiashi Amane.
A source from Mnet responded to OSEN, “We cannot confirm anything about trainees’ departures. Please check through the broadcast of the first episode.”
“Produce 48” began filming on April 11, revealed their first performance of “Pick Me” on May 10, and will premiere on June 15.
