Seo Kang Joon Shares His Hopes And Ratings Goal For "Are You Human, Too?"

Seo Kang Joon has a realistic outlook when it comes to viewership ratings.

The actor was in attendance alongside his co-stars at a press conference for KBS2’s “Are You Human, Too?” on May 31.

When asked ratings goals and promises , Seo Kang Joon explained, “It would be a lie to say that numbers don’t matter to us, as they do. We do hope that it will receive a lot of love, but more than that, I think our biggest hope is that people will really enjoy watching our drama, whether it be just one person or 10 people.

As for an actual numerical goal, the actor carefully stated, “Realistically, I am expecting and hoping for ratings of 8.5 percent.” After being prodded for a higher rating, he changed it to 10.5 percent, saying, “It’s because it is more difficult these days, unlike the past, when it comes to [achieving higher] ratings.” He ultimately named 15.5 percent as his viewership goal.

“Are You Human, Too?” is about AI robot Nam Shin III (Seo Kang Joon), who was created to take the place of the actual Nam Shin when he falls into a coma after a mysterious accident. He is protected by the passionate Kang So Bong (Gong Seung Yeon), who would do anything for Nam Shin.
