On June 1, Nielsen Korea released the viewership ratings recorded by the shows that aired the day before.

For its May 31 episode, KBS’s “Suits” recorded viewership ratings of 9.8 percent nationwide. This is an increase from last episode (8.8 percent) and extremely close to the coveted 10 percent mark, which would bring its ratings into the double digits. It is also 0.1 percent off from its personal best, 9.9 percent.

Once again, “Suits” received the highest viewership ratings of all the dramas in its time slot.

Second place in that time slot was MBC’s “Come and Hug Me,” which garnered ratings of 5.3 and 5.9 percent nationwide, a significant increase from last time (4.3 and 5.1 percent). It also recorded 6.3 and 7.1 percent in the metropolitan region, a new personal best for the drama. In the advertiser-friendly age bracket of 20-49, it garnered ratings of 3.6 percent, the highest of all the shows that aired on Thursday.

SBS’s “The Undateables” got viewership ratings of 3.9 and 4.1 percent, as Namgoong Min and Hwang Jung Eum started getting closer in earnest and raised viewers’ curiosity about whether a romance between two “undateable” (for different reasons) characters will finally kick off.
