Lee Je Hoon In Talks To Lead New SBS Drama
Actor Lee Je Hoon has been offered the lead role in SBS’s new Monday-Tuesday drama “Where Stars Land.”
The drama production initially began with the title “Where Stars Land” with Park Shin Hye in talks to lead the drama. However, the plot of the drama was dramatically changed midway and the title was also changed to “People at Incheon Airport” (literal translation).
On June 1, a source confirmed that the drama recently brought back its original title “Where Stars Land.” Written by Kang Eun Kyung, the scriptwriter of dramas such as “Romantic Doctor Kim” and “Gu Family Book,” “Where Stars Land” will offer a closer look into the hectic lives of the people working at Incheon Airport.
Sources shared that Lee Je Hoon has already received the script and he was considering the offer. “It’s true that he has received the offer but nothing’s been decided,” a source at Lee Je Hoon’s agency said.
The role Lee Je Hoon is in talks for is the male lead, Kang Ki Chan. Working at the Incheon Airport’s operational planning team, Kang Ki Chan originally dreamt of becoming a pilot but had to give it up due to his bad eyesight. Kang Ki Chan’s passion for aviation is nonetheless consistent. The drama unfolds as he becomes a member of the operational planning team and encounters the character Yoon Seo Wool.
“Where Stars Land” is scheduled to air in the latter half of the year.
