Super Junior's Heechul Reveals Unexpected Benefit Of Confessing To Hair Loss
On the latest episode of KBS 2TV’s “1 Percent Friendship,” Super Junior’s Kim Heechul shared some unexpected good news!
Heechul had previously opened up about his hair loss on the show in March, when he confessed that he had recently been plagued by concerns about his thinning hair. The idol shared that he had even begun visiting a hair loss clinic on a regular basis.
During the June 2 broadcast of the variety show, Heechul revealed that there had been an unexpected upside to his insecurity. He happily told the other cast members, “After I confessed to hair loss on this program, I received an offer to film a shampoo commercial.”
The Super Junior member recalled with a laugh, “The advertiser told me, ‘We could really sense your sincerity. But this is a shampoo that prevents hair loss, and you’re an idol, so is it okay for you to be associated with hair loss?'”
He then promised the rest of the “1 Percent Friendship” cast that once his ad came out, he would prepare a gift of shampoo for each of them.
