Wanna One's Agency Shares Update On Bae Jin Young's Current Status Following Ear Injury

Wanna One’s agency has revealed an update on Bae Jin Young’s injury.

During Wanna One’s concert on June 2, Bae Jin Young injured his ear when he and Ong Seong Woo bumped into each other on stage. After going off-stage to stop the bleeding and get his ear checked, he returned to stage and finished the concert.

The group’s agency Swing Entertainment shared on June 3, “Immediately after the concert, Bae Jin Young got a check-up at the hospital. The examination results show that there are thankfully no problems with his eardrum. The injured area does not need stitches and just has to be treated with ointment. He got a tetanus shot and received a prescription for antibiotics.”

The agency added, “For a week, it will be difficult for him to use an in-ear monitor and earphones in his right ear, which is the side that was injured. He will also have to use regular earphones for about another week after that.”

Wanna One will conclude the three days for the Seoul stop of their world tour on June 3 at Gocheok Sky Dome. Their special album “1÷χ=1(UNDIVIDED)” is set to be released on June 4.
