One of the tracks from Yubin’s upcoming solo album has pushed back its release date due to copyright issues.

JYP Entertainment made an announcement on June 4 and stated, “‘City Love’ (literal translation) will have its release date pushed back due to copyright issues,” and “It has come to our attention that there is an issue regarding copyrights, so we have decided to put the release of this song on hold until the issue is resolved. We sincerely apologize to all of the fans who have waited for it.”

Yubin and Bam Ha Neul, the pianist and composer of indie band Mozaroot, co-wrote the lyrics for “City Love.” It is a city pop genre track that has a different feel from her upcoming title track “Lady,” and the lyrics reflect the sentiments of people living in the city who find living alone comfortable, but don’t like feeling lonely.

Although “City Love” has been put on hold, Yubin will be releasing her first solo album “City Woman” as planned on June 5 at 6 p.m. KST.
