HA:TFELT (Yeeun) Talks About What JYP And Amoeba Culture Are Like To Her

HA:TFELT (Yeeun) spoke honestly about her former agency JYP Entertainment and her current agency Amoeba Culture.

The singer appeared on the June 4 episode of MBN’s “Airplane Girl” (literal translation), where she spent her time with her close friends.

During the episode her friend asked her, “Are you not [a member of] Wonder Girls anymore?” Yeeun responded, “I guess I’m not. JYP is like family to me. You know how when you’re with family, you’ve been with them for so long and it feels great? But for me, when I’m with family for a long time, it’s a little hard.”

She explained, “I’ve been living on my own and doing things on my own for a long time. But you know how when you go home, they look at you and expect you to be the way you were when you were young? That’s what it’s like when I go to JYP.”

Yeeun also talked about her current agency, saying, “When I’m with Amoeba [Culture], it’s like I’m with friends. We’re still not very close, but it feels like I’ve made a new friend that I get along with well.” She added, “They’re like a friend that tells me, ‘You can do it,’ when I’m putting myself down. I want to do well, I have to work hard.”

One of her friends said, “It’s like you broke up with your boyfriend then started dating a new boyfriend.” Yeeun agreed, saying, “Yeah, exactly like that. Your agency is similar to your boyfriend.”
