Rapper Awkwafina Names Some Of Her Favorite Korean Artists And Who She Wants To Collaborate With

The cast of “Ocean’s 8” recently sat down for an interview with MBC’s “Section TV.”

Anne Hathaway, Mindy Kaling, Sarah Paulson, Cate Blanchett, rapper Awkwafina, and Sandra Bullock appeared on the June 4 episode of the weekly entertainment news show.

During the interview, Seo Min Jung asked the three actresses if they think they can outdo the previous “Ocean’s” films.

Cate Blanchett answered, “The director and characters are different, and the direction is different.” Seo Min Jung commented, “I asked because after I watched it, it looked like it could be possible.”

When asked what it was like to act like a thief on-screen, Cate Blanchett replied, “It was terrifyingly easy. The hard thing for me, as a mother of four, is to stay awake. That’s a little hard for me.”

Chinese-Korean-American rapper and actress Awkwafina was then asked about some of her favorite Korean artists. She revealed, “I love Jay Park. I love G-Dragon. I love CL.”

She added, “I would love to collaborate with Jay Park. He’s amazing.” Her co-stars Sandra Bullock and Cate Blanchett then suggested that the three of them should collaborate and perform “Ocean’s Style,” inspired by Psy’s “Gangnam Style.”

Later after the broadcast, Jay Park thanked Awkwafina on Twitter, who also responded back in return.
