The May 5 episode of MBC’s Monday-Tuesday drama, “Partners for Justice,” beat out the other dramas in its time slot with a new personal best in viewership ratings. The night’s broadcast garnered 6.7 and 8.2 percent nationwide, a 0.5 percent increase from last time.
SBS’s “Wok of Love” and KBS’s “Are You Human, Too?” competed fiercely for the second spot in its time slot, with “Wok of Love” garnering ratings of 5.7 and 6.4 percent and “Are You Human, Too?” ratings of 5.0 and 5.3 percent.
Both “Wok of Love” and “Are You Human, Too?” saw the pace pick up in their romance storylines. In “Are You Human, Too?,” the newest competitor in the Monday-Tuesday time slot, Gong Seung Yeon and Seo Kang Joon saw their originally hostile relationship (at least from Gong Seung Yeon’s perspective) change after Seo Kang Joon rescues Gong Seung Yeon from a fire.
In “Wok of Love,” things take a lighter but sweeter turn as 2PM’s Junho and Jung Ryeo Won bond over dim sum, bubblegum, and cute displays of affection.
