ONF Comments On

On June 7, ONF held a press showcase for the upcoming release of their new mini album.

In 2017, all seven members joined the JTBC survival program “MIXNINE,” and Hyojin and Laun eventually became members of the final group. However, plans for the group’s debut eventually fell through.

When asked about their thoughts on the cancellation of the “MIXNINE” group’s debut, Laun responded, “Although the ‘MIXNINE’ debut was canceled, there is a lot we learned from practicing everyday for the program. It is too bad that we couldn’t debut, but we grew a lot through the experiences. We will show more improved sides of ourselves.”

J-Us also shared on his experience with the program, “I learned a lot about how valuable our members are through ‘MIXNINE.'”

ONF was also asked about making a comeback on the same day as A.C.E, of which three members competed on “MIXNINE.” Kim Byeong Kwan and Donghun were also set to debut in the final group with Hyojin and Laun.

MK commented, “We performed a lot together with A.C.E while doing ‘MIXNINE’ and learned a lot. I am excited since we’ll meet at music shows, and it will be great to see them. We worked hard to prepare, and they worked hard to prepare also, so I hope we can all do as well as we have prepared.”

Wyatt added, “As MK said, we became friends through ‘MIXNINE,’ and I hope that we can show each other great performances as colleagues in the same profession.”

ONF’s new mini album “You Complete Me” will be released on June 7 at 6 p.m. KST.
