Update: Uee Confirmed As Lead In New Weekend Drama

UEE will be making her acting comeback!

It has been confirmed that she will be starring as the lead in KBS2’s upcoming weekend drama “My Beautiful Side” (literal translation) as of July 17.

This will be UEE’s first drama since “My Husband, Mr. Oh!” which concluded in May. As previously reported, she will be starring as Kim Do Ran, a career woman who learns her parents are not who she thought they were and are actually murderers.

Uee may be returning to the small screen soon!

According to her agency Yuleum Entertainment, Uee was offered a role in KBS2’s new weekend drama “My Beautiful Side” (literal translation) and is currently looking over it.

If Uee chooses to take the role, she will play Kim Do Ran, a woman with a volatile temper and strong sense of responsibility. Kim Do Ran barely graduated from college as an English major after repeatedly taking a leave of absence. She is preparing for her teacher certificate examination while teaching part time at a private institute.

The drama revolves around a woman who loses everything in one day after finding out that her parents are not her biological parents and that they are murderers. It is the story of a woman who will live firmly while fitting together pieces of her life that was broken by love.

“My Beautiful Side” will air sometime in September.
